The protection of your personal data is a matter of great importance to us. With this statement we would like to inform you on how we handle your personal data.

3. What are personal data?

“Personal data” are defined by the law (currently §3, Section 1BDSG)  as “individual items of data relating to the personal or professional circumstances of a specific or specifiable natural person (affected party)” . These include, for example, information such as name, address, e-mail address or other information which can be related to a specific natural person.

4. Collection and use of personal data

In accordance with the data privacy statement given by Christina Berger, personal data can be used to handle the concluded sales contract as well as any possible subsequent claims.  Provided the user having previously explicitly expressed his consent, we will send our e-mail newsletter, to inform the customer about current development and offers. The same applies for advertising our own offers via letter. Within the framework of providing her services, Christina Berger is entitled to transmit personal data to her payment transactions-, logistics- and transportation service providers to the extent necessary for the fulfilment of the contract.

5. Cookies

We use so-called cookies in order to organize the navigation and use of our website as user-friendly as possible. Cookies are small files with text information that are stored on the hard drive of your computer while you view our online shop. After a customer has successfully logged on we require the cookies to be able to identify and authorize the customer for the protected area of our homepage for the duration of his visit. Cookies are also used to store the visitor’s preferences. This way we can tailor the contents of our website to your specific needs and thereby improve our offer for you. We cannot create links to the users with the cookies. You can deactivate the option for the storage of these cookies any time in the default settings of your browser and delete existing cookies. Every user can also view our online store without cookies. However, if you do not accept cookies, this may cause functional limitations in our offers.

Several of the cookies we use are deleted from your hard drive automatically after finishing your browser session (Session-Cookies). Session-Cookies are required to, for e.g., be able to offer our customers the shopping basket function over several pages.  In addition, we also use cookies which remain stored on your hard drive for a certain time after finishing your browser session (depending on cookie between one day and five years). When you visit our website the next time, it will automatically recognize which country and which language you selected during your last visit to our website. These persistent cookies are stored on your hard drive and deleted by the browser after the determined time period. These cookies may also be provided from third-parties.

The data will remain stored as long as necessary for above mentioned purposes, or as long as there is a legal or a regulatory obligation to retain the data.
